The Eucharist, the Signet of Divine Love

The Eucharist is not a myth. It is the source of our justification, our sanctification, and our eternal glory. God placed it as a signet on our hearts as his claim of ownership and his bride on our hearts. Mysteries are livable; they are not solvable because they are above human reasoning and utterances.

The narratives of faith and the sacraments overwhelm us; they integrate us into the fabric of Christ's being; he becomes our spouse and us, his bride. Those who partake of the Eucharist, they become one body with Christ. That is the consummate significance of the Eucharist. In other words, the Eucharist is the essence of the divine nuptial love between the Lord and the people of faith.

Faith thrives on divine revelation and God's grace. It refutes nothing God says. Instead, it digests, assimilates and undergoes a full transformation by every utterance of God. It is impossible to be full-fledged Christian if we keep denying Christ Jesus is present body, soul and divinity in the Holy Eucharist. Let us go forth to enjoy the gift of divine love and the source of eternal life.

Father, we thank you for the gift of your Son. Jesus, for the gift of your body and blood, we praise you.
