Christ Left us a Treasure

The treasury of the Catholic faith is rich and enriching for those who believe and practice it. It persists on three pillars: divine revelation, sacred scripture and the traditions of the apostles. She does everything the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Church exists for Christ and in Christ to lead the whole human race to God who reigns in the kingdom of Heaven.

The Church never prays without invoking the manes the three persons of the Blessed Trinity. Why? To remind herself there are three persons in the Trinity, her members accepted initiation in their names and to remember Christ died to purchase her for the Father.

As members of the Mystical Body of Christ, we never pray or worship in our names. Always, it is in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Christ established this practice. Whatever you ask the Father in my name, he will do it. Christ assured us, anything we ask the Father he will grant it to us in the name of the Son.

In the wee hours of the approaching Pentecost, celebrations let us remain focus on the teachings and practices of our faith. Let us not be afraid to approach the Father through his Son, especially now as the world is in crisis and needs divine intervention. God will restore our human integrity and the productivity of our countries. God will send us the Holy Spirit to guide us back into the way of truth.

Lord, I place all my faith, hope and trust in you. Come and save us for your namesake!
