Serving One God

Faith in the almighty is in agony, globally. Hope is fading rapidly. Humankind, while they are progressing historically, socially, technologically, politically, and economic wise, yet religiously and morally, they are regressing just as fast. COVID 19 bears eloquent testimony to the duplicity of humankind today. Alongside these aspects are the alarming rise and widespread surge of the esoteric cults among the youths, clerics and religious who see no contradiction to their faith in their newfound adherence. Instead, they keep erecting their altars and worshiping their newfound kings and gods as if there is nothing wrong.

God is the same, yesterday, today and forever (Heb.8:13). For the interest of preserving our godly integrity, God never wavers nor dilutes his laws and precepts. The Lord is always constant in his holiness. Today's Liturgy of the Word, warns us against the kinds of prodigalism, which we practice today. If we insist on our acts of disloyalties, we will incur the wrath of God and meet the same end with Israel of old. If we are faithful to God, we will know and recognise his deeds and action. Then we will also know how to discern Satanism and exclude ourselves from its perversity.

Lord, keep at all times faithful to my baptismal promises.
